2016-2017 annual report for the Oak Park Education Foundation featured a new executive director; a new partnership with District 97; a new robotics program focused on teaching skills and building teamwork; a new community-wide public arts project to honor a legendary poet; and a new BASE Camp expansion that brought their summer programming to its most diverse audience ever. The effect OPEF has on the community is always palpable, so this year’s annual report design centered on the tangible through use of quotes on each spread. Half page inserts offered hands-on activities for readers, and stats near donor/financial pages. A high number of photographs gave a sense of reality, textured pages gave a personal touch.
