Oak Park Education Foundation offers free in-school programs to D97 students. Recently, OPEF held a fundraiser at the well known Fitzgerald’s nightclub in Berwyn Illinois. Featuring the rock & roll blues band “Bono Bros Band!” Band members Rob and Jim Bonaccorsi (Freddy Jones Band), Tom Albanase and  Nick Kitsos  (former drummer with the BoDeans and Poi Dog Pondering) all happen to be District 97 dads and were generous to provide their talents for an evening of fun! All proceeds benefited OPEF’s free in-school programs. Objective was to convey OPEF’s brand plus cool rock/blues.
